What is your general opinion about the Merge itself?

Merge is mainnet with the beacon chain proof of stake system. This will mark the end of proof of work for Ethereum and the full transition. This is planned to precede the roll out of shard chains.

How do you feel about the release date - is it going to be delayed?

I feel is good for Ethereum to minimaize delayed transaction because developer are focusing their efforts on transaction, and minimizing additional features that could delay this goal.

What is your price target for ETH after the merge?

I am looking plans include a post merge " Cleanup" Upgrade to address these features, which is expected to happen very soon after the Merge Completed. My price prediction for ETH $5000 going to up.

Are you using L2 (Arbitrum) already? If not, are you planning to do so after the Merge? Elaborate.

I have started using L2 (Arbitrum) In metamask because it makes transactions very easy and low for gas fees. L2 Arbitrum for the future Ethereum transactions, like some crypto's have started using it.

What is your general opinion about the Merge itself?

It seems to me a good option to combine or have them combined to form a single entity. And that Ethereum is a network of efficient use of energy based on Proof of Stake (PoS), or Proof of Participation. And in turn, it is made that Ethereum is much more decentralized and secure, also this change due to The Merge will not have any effect on the data layer in the Ethereum network. It will only be an update to the consensus layer, as Vitalik originally thought

How do you feel about the release date - is it going to be delayed?

the date and the changes that come after it seem tentative to me and a process that has a long course, so I think that for all this to happen, the process will be delayed a bit and later it will be consolidated

What is your price target for ETH after the merge?

For such an important and good update, the value of Etheum may exceed 15,000 at the beginning of 2023. There is a lot of confidence that this can be the case.

Are you using L2 (Arbitrum) already? If not, are you planning to do so after the Merge? Elaborate.

I am not using L2 (Arbitrum) yet but I will use it before the update to get the benefits it will bring to experience the infrastructure and DApps that are active in Arbitrum, I will do it in my trusted wallet like Web 3 like Metamask .

What is your general opinion about the Merge itself?

In December 2018, Vitalik Buterin stated that Blockchain with sharing based on Proof-of-Stake (PoS) will be thousands of times more efficient. This Merge will allow more non-financial business cases to utilize the blockchain because of the reduced cost to put the thing on chain.

How do you feel about the release date - is it going to be delayed?

As far as I know, there is no release date but an expectation that the release will be somewhere in Q2 2022. I am talking here about the merge itself, not the Shard chains one can expect at the end of 2023.

What is your price target for ETH after the merge?

After the Merge, I would expect the price of ETH to be around $9500. The usage of the Ethereum blockchain will increase as the lower fees will make the Ethereum blockchain more attractive for users to develop products.

Are you using L2 (Arbitrum) already? If not, are you planning to do so after the Merge? Elaborate.

As a kind reminder, Arbitrum is a layer two solution designed to improve the capabilities of Ethereum smart contracts and address some shortcomings such as poor efficiency and high transaction costs. Although the Arbitrum mainnet launched end of August last year, I don't have the opportunity to use it so far, but I plan to use it in the nearly future as soon as it is easy to use with ETH-based NFT platforms

What is your general opinion about the Merge itself?

It is the opportunity to have a transition to a more sustainable approach from different perspectives including ecological footprint, scalability and security.

How do you feel about the release date - is it going to be delayed?

This is a secondary aspect. The most important thing is that security and the decentralisation are maintained and improved as claimed initially. Better wait but have a stable and reliable system than rush and jeopardise everything.

What is your price target for ETH after the merge?

That is a tricky question as it is quite unpredictable. I expect to see a constant rise of the price even if I hope it will stabilise so it can be effectively used as an alternative currency. Too much volatility does not help in having a large number of users.

Are you using L2 (Arbitrum) already? If not, are you planning to do so after the Merge? Elaborate.

Not immediately. Arbitrum is smart contract based, therefore all the issues connected to smart contract shall be taken in account including bugs and hacking. Further it does not have a token and the costs are in ethereum.

Ethereum 2.0 will make more crypto users to fall in ETH projects, gas fees will help to fix this problems. Also it will help ETH to stay in his prime and hype, so other projects, etc Sol cant get ahead of him

I think date will be delayed for sure as usually. I want it to be released as fast as they can but still think there will be delay. Hope there wont be this problems and we will see it as fast as possible

What is your price target for ETH after the merge?

Are you using L2 (Arbitrum) already? If not, are you planning to do so after the Merge? Elaborate.

I used L2 arbitrum first time on experty when I tried to withdraw WIS and it went so easy and comfortable so good experience, but if 2.0 will reduce gas fees, I dont think I will use arbitrum again

I think it's a great idea. Since the pos will lead to cheaper video cards, the throughput will increase and the network commissions will be much reduced.

Nobody knows the exact release date. I hope it will still be released on schedule, although there are doubts, as many network updates have been postponed.

What is your general opinion about the Merge itself?

The goal is to make Ethereum, the blockchain being upgraded, more scalable, secure, and sustainable. Among other things, it would make its crypto mining obsolete, thereby reducing the huge amount of energy required to create new tokens—a source of intense criticism.

the highly anticipated Ethereum Merge, some crypto experts are putting forward Ethereum price predictions in the $10000 range. Ethereum has been on a rather bullish run. Now trading near $3,500, ETH has bounced nicely off the $2,500 range it saw for a significant portion of the year to date. Thus, bulls are out in full force, predicting higher highs for this digital giant.

What is your general opinion about the Merge itself?

Very optimistic that , the merge will brings a lot of benefits to ETH and cryptocurrency ecosystem in general. Firstly, the gas fee problem, due to the Proof of Work(PoW) mechanism in the current layer, I always looks for some other alternatives before using the Ethereum network. Secondly, the current challenges from the greener energy, mining creates a lot of damages to the environment.

How do you feel about the release date - is it going to be delayed?

Historically, most of the Ethereum roadmaps are delayed but I have a good feeling that this time will be difference, meaning it can happen even before the dateline.

What is your price target for ETH after the merge?

Normally, I do not like predicting price, but I believe the price can be between 7k-10k. In another words, the price could closed this year confidently closer to 10k.

Are you using L2 (Arbitrum) already? If not, are you planning to do so after the Merge? Elaborate.

I tired few times, I do not like the process, although it save gas fee and I think after the Merge I might no need it. Although the Ethereum networks growth will always generate the demand for other L2.

What is your general opinion about the Merge itself?

I fully agree with Vitalik's feeling about needing of more useful validation process. We're waiting for too long time for this update now and it's really moment to make the merge to avoid too many people turning bored about ethereum...

How do you feel about the release date - is it going to be delayed?

Despite I really want features being quickly merged, i also know that it will have many issuable steps before. I remembered miners disagreeing last eip1159 and global idea to turn ethereum into POS to save their income based on fees users paid them. Otherwise I think it will be main rememberable event for many years , when miners, builders and users will also merge same incentive, making ethereum the most usable again

What is your price target for ETH after the merge?

Due to recent events on true world, it sounds hardly to bet a price now. It's sure that it will have increasing impact, and eth pricing would target 7500$ but it would also get back lower level. .

Are you using L2 (Arbitrum) already? If not, are you planning to do so after the Merge? Elaborate.

Yes, it's good feature to make most of transactions I need, and arbitrum is easily integratable on dapps, and fees sound very interesting. Most interesting ethereum features on most affordable chain layer

What is your general opinion about the Merge itself?

It's exciting and potentially groundbreaking, and will create the secure web3 base layer. The Merge will also increase sustainability as the transactions will involve much less energy.

How do you feel about the release date - is it going to be delayed?

I don't know if Vitalik has set a firm Merge date as yet. Either way I think the Merge is generally on track to occur in Q2 or at the latest Q3.

What is your price target for ETH after the merge?

I would think the price would steadily increase once the Merge gets closer or significant milestones are hit. I would predict the price to be around $4500 USD at the Merge and tracking higher afterwards.

Are you using L2 (Arbitrum) already? If not, are you planning to do so after the Merge? Elaborate.

Arbitrum currently uses Ethereum base layer but executes in layer 2 via a bridge. I feel as though Arbitrum will become less of a utility once the Merge solves the energy use issue, so my answer is no.
