Axie Infinity is the first game to introduce the Play To Earn model and does over 1 Billion in transactions a month. It is literally pulling players out of poverty. Their user base keep growing, therefore I see them growing even faster.

I could say that the economy of axie infinity is one of the best games there is currently and the best known so far. But analyzing and seeing a bit of the game, I think its price and economy are going to drop a little, since currently, to make the change from slp to bnb, it will charge a large percentage of feed. and well now axie would have to look for an alternative or how to improve his game since now there is a new nft that is similar and very similar and is on the right track. I think the barriers themselves place them to have limitations in the game. And then the main thing is to improve as I said currently, a new nft game has come out, very similar to Axie Infinity, such as Monsta Infinity, I think the main barrier is competition, I would have to make improvements and seek to stabilize the economy since there are a lot of things in risks and there are people who have been axie for a long time like abandoning it and leaving there. Competition can be a big driver of growth if you tackle it right

Axie Infinity is also not a game you can immediately start playing. Other projects are watching, in no time some would want to replicate the success of Axie in the gaming industry and in the NFT market. It suffices to say that Axie will be around for a long time and with all things being equal, the development of the project will continue in an uptrend.

Definitely, the hype surrounding the project is surely going to affect the projects and tokens with which it is affiliated with. These tokens are used in the play2Earn games and Axie players can take their SLP and AXS tokens and sell or hold them as they please. Overtime, when the platform has many users, these token would naturally become scarce and this will drive their prices upwards. It will be exciting to see how it plays out.

The fact that it is a platform which people can earn from may spur potential swindlers who may try to game the system or double their earnings etc. Another thing could be new tech, if new projects which are better than NFTs arrive trust fun lovers and profit makers to jump ship and join the bandwagon.

There's only one thing i see that can be threat or barrier for the growth of axie and it is about on the gas fee, we all know that Axie is on Ethereum network, and gas fees on Ethereum is insanely high. For players who can't afford those high gas fees will definitely look for other NFT games built on Binance Smart Chain or other chains that has lower gas fee cost.
