The hype that the metaverse topic got after Facebook Meta announcement took both MANA and SAND prices a little bit higher that what these platforms actually are right now. On the long term, if the projects succeed, both tokens can get minimum of 10x value. But for 2022, we can see some corrections and the prices can fall back to the US$1-3 range.

This has benefited the crypto Metaverse platforms, especially the leading ones. Either MANA and SAND are on my 5 Metaverse potfolio too. Analyzing the token growth alone is not enough to get a true sense of, which platform will be a leader in the Metaverse space. MANA has rallied more than 400% since October 28th. Similarly, look at SAND, the Sandbox native token, which has rallied more than 300% since that time.

I’ve created accounts on both platforms. It’s obvious to me that there is more activity in the Sandbox. I keep being informed of sweepstakes and contests in the Sandbox as well. Note that CoinMarketCap did an earn and learn for Sandbox as a way to kickstart interest in the platform. Each time I have been in Decentraland, there have been few players actually there. They are both great ideas, and it’s early in the Metaverse, but if I had to bet a body part against which platform is more likely to increase in price over the next few years, my money is going into the Sandbox.

I don’t think one can base Metaverse tokens based on organic growth information. These are still hype coins like Doge and Shib. So bets are off. I think either of these coins could increase above $50 within the next 12 months. This based on the fact that most buyers are going to buy based on knowing little else than that these tokens are Metaverse tokens and that Facebook is interested in the Metaverse.

Build on it, create games on it etc. Imagine a real world property, decided into communites, estates, shops , houses... then imagine Decentraland. The content that makes up Decentraland is stored and distributed via a decentralized network while ownership and transactions are validated on the Ethereum blockchain. Now you can be a professional builder and build whatever you want in your estate. Finally, there is a market place where Lands, assesories and any other NFTs can be sold. My only concern is the etherum High gas fees. Many up coming young investors may not have so much money to want to pay for gas fees over $100, but I noticed they are introducing polygon with cheaper fees Sandbox on the otherhand is a community-driven platform where creators can monetize voxel ASSETS and gaming experiences on the blockchain. In simple terms. It means you can create any game you can imagine, then bring the game to life and play it.
