This specific project is tied to real horses, with owners getting rewards when the real world horse wins, and increases in NFT value through staking and trading. Fundamentally, NFT's are providing a new way to either invest, or gamble on value creation, which horses have been a main-stay for the rich for some time. I'd imagine that in the meta-verse, the ability to engage with this activity will become very valuable, while a little more niche than major land owning tokens like $SAND, it's likely to attract more investment and active trading.
