What is your opinion on ETH flippeninng BTC in 2022?

ETH will not be able to flip BTC in 2022 especially in market cap though it has been able to flip in the number of transactions. The reason is the layer-1 Eth protocol is no longer desired for use in smart contract programming in general or defi in particular due to its very high fees. Most of them have been migrating to layer 2 solutions and other cheaper alternatives. Also, Ethereum 2 has been adding to a lot of uncertainty. So one can largely expect no big dapps will be starting in ethereum and ethereum might lose a lot of existing dapps to layer 2 solutions. The above reason will result in lesser demand for Ethereum compared to last year. In the meantime countries will start adopting Bitcoin as the reserve and many entrepreneurs such as Jack Dorsey and Elon Musk will be more interested in working on promoting Bitcoin than in Ethereum. Their recent tweets ridiculing web3 is an indirect indication that they are not all confident about web3 aka ethereum's ability . Also for countries adopting cryptocurrencies, Bitcoin, with a stable tech and architecture, will be a safer bet compared to "move fast, break fast" culture of Ethereum. So though ethereum might have a greater utility compared to Bitcoin it might not able to flip Bitcoin in 2022. Having said that ehtereum has a chance to flip Bitcoin in 2023 if it transitions to PoS completely in 2022 and is able to reduce the fees and increase tps as promised in Eth2 whitepaper. Also if Ethereum can appeal to sustainability advocates post PoS transition and can become a greener blockchain option than Bitcoin then definitely no one else can beat Ethereum for the next 20 years in market cap, transactions and volume as the community is so young and network effect is so solid.

Ethereum, if the Eth2 not getting implemented scenario will be moving between the range of $3000 - $6000, if PoS transition happens then can break the upper threshold of 6k. However, it depends on tps and fees post the transition. If fees are favourable then reverse migration of apps from layer 2 solution to Eth2 will happen which will push the prices higher. Bitcoin will see a growth in price from 50k - 85K depending upon the adoption of governments and how the efforts of Jack Dorsey in pushing the bitcoin to more mainstream. Definitely, 2023 will see if Bitcoin can support smart contracts and the impact of Taproot. If they provide favourable results the bitcoin price can move much higher to 100k. But till then we should keep our hopes bit lower.

ETH/BTC will be in the range of 0.06 - 0.1. Eth major utility was a fee for decentralised exchange as major decentralised exchanges have moved to layer 2 , we have to see other utilities where ETH can be used. Till then it may not breach the .1

I don't see it happening in 2022. Bitcoin still governs the cryptocurrency market and therefore governs Ethereum. If this would eventually happen, it'd take more than a year so it might not happen in 2022 and this is just the fundamental aspect. Moving to the technical aspect[Technical analysis], Ethereum hitting $10000 in 2022 doesn't seem likely. Price action indicates a rise in price but there'd be retest and consolidation so Ethereum hitting $10000 before the end of 2022 doesn't seem likely to me.

I see Ethereum hitting about $8000 and I see Bitcoin hitting $70000. I based it on price movement. Price shows that an upward break is imminent but there'd also be retests and consolidations

I'd predict a 0.1 Bitcoin per one Ethereum or highest 0.15 Bitcoin per one Ethereum. The use of Ethereum will increase in the coming year due to the presence of massive transactions occurring on it and if not that Ethereum indirectly affects Bitcoin, the ratio would be more than that.
