I see Axie maintaining a competitive position in blockchain gaming, and interactive NFT space due to the substantial backing and community support it has received.

I would like to believe so. They have had a massive run in 2021, which includes their main product, Axie Infinity, gaining tremendous popularity.

Barrier of entry may become too great. And mainstream adoption is still a fear in the long-term, regarding gaming and the legislation behind it.

How do you see Axie developing over the next 12 months?

Just like the other “play to earn” games, they will see exponential growth for the remainder of the year, and the market will surely continue to grow in the following years. It is a market that is just beginning and there are many projects in development that will be released during the next 12 months. Axie Infinity will always have the label of being the first triumphant in its category but I doubt that it can maintain its position over time, specifically speaking of the video game industry, every year we see new titles that gain remembrance since it is an industry that moves more money than movies right now. The team behind Axie Infinity has shown a true commitment to developing their product which somehow convinces me that they will continue to evolve it even more.

Without a doubt, each new milestone reached in a roadmap of any project is a celebration occasion that usually shakes up the markets in which it is involved. I am convinced that Axie is still discovering himself.

What are in your opinion the most significant threats and barriers that may hinder further Axie growth?

As I mentioned a moment ago, this is a very new market, in which its participants are just beginning to emerge. The competition right now may not be very strong but over time new projects will come out (some already in development and with a lot of FOMO from the community) that will gain ground in the market as this field continues to expand. In the medium and long term, Axie can be seen compared in a list with 20 or 30 more games.

Getting stronger and having great updates for the game and the community. I believe minor issues will be fixed and more features coming. Token prices will move nicely.

Mainly, FUDS and the government. Some government agency will always try to sue on the game knowing the fact that it might overrun them. Also the toxic mindset of some people is a hinder to the growth. Some envious people will try to ruin the game ,the server, the website,etc.

How do you see Axie developing over the next 12 months?

Axie infinity definitely is going up to the moon. I observed the token around the price range of $26 or so and in such a short while it went up to over $70 and is still growing. The community increases everyday and it's a project I believe in a lot.

Yes, definitely it is likely to boost the popularity and prices of the AXS and SLP tokens. The Axie roadmap shows the ecosystem still has a lot in store for us and it's going to be fire.

The most significant threat I can see right now is the rate at which other gaming defi tokens are gaining popularity at such a fast rate. Who knows what could happen soon.
